Chat with a Candy AI character
Choose a companion, read the introduction and start talking. You can ask a question, continue the opening scene or establish a new fictional situation. The details you provide help shape the next reply.
Set the tone through the conversation
Tell the character whether you want brief dialogue, a descriptive scene or a particular speaking style. A clear instruction such as 'Keep your next reply to dialogue and ask me one question' is more useful than repeating a vague request to improve the chat.
We do not provide a universal chat-intensity slider. Character setup, the current messages and supported conversation controls are the ways to shape the exchange. Content rules still apply regardless of the tone you request.
Roleplay mode and your own characters
For eligible Create My AI characters, the chat's three-dot menu can include Switch to Roleplay Mode. The documented switch is permanent for that character, so check the choice before confirming it.
A user persona describes how you want to be represented in a conversation. It is different from the AI character's biography. Keep your persona's fictional details separate from sensitive information about your real identity.
Starting over and taking another path
A reset starts the conversation afresh. There is no separate control that guarantees removal of all visible chat while retaining its full detailed memory. Keep that distinction in mind before using Reset Chat or Delete Chat.
Where your plan offers Clone Chat, you can copy a conversation up to its current point and continue a different story in the copy. The original thread remains a separate path; cloning is not the same action as restoring a deleted chat.
Questions and answers
Can I roleplay with my Candy AI companion?
Yes. You can establish a fictional scene in chat. Eligible custom characters also offer a Roleplay Mode option, subject to the available controls and our content rules.
Does Candy AI remember every message forever?
Do not rely on perfect recall. Keep important scene details clear, and use the memory features available in your plan. Resetting or deleting a conversation can remove the context you wanted to keep.
What is a cloned chat?
It is a copy of an existing conversation at a particular point. You can explore a different continuation in the copy without changing the original thread.
Why does the character repeat itself?
Try a more specific next message, clarify the scene or regenerate the response where available. If repetition continues across characters, check the troubleshooting steps before resetting a conversation.
