Begin with one character and a short conversation. It is easier to learn how Candy AI responds when you change one thing at a time rather than create several characters and request media immediately.
Your first conversation
- Browse the character catalogue and choose a profile whose introduction interests you.
- Sign in or create your account when prompted, using the login method you intend to keep.
- Read the opening message and respond with a setting, a question or a clear direction for the scene.
- Give a little context in your next reply if the character misses a detail. Avoid several unrelated instructions in a single message.
- Try an available image or voice action only after reviewing the access requirement and any token cost.
Give the character something specific to respond to
A useful opening might name the setting, your role and the kind of response you want: 'We are planning a weekend road trip. You prefer quiet places, and I want to find a coastal route. Ask me which town we should stop in.' This creates a starting point without requiring a long biography.
If you prefer shorter dialogue, say so directly. For a story, introduce the immediate situation and let the character react before adding the next event. Treat a generated reply as part of a conversation you can redirect, not a fixed script.
Keep track of the account you are using
My Profile and Settings are the places to check account and subscription information. Use the same sign-in method on your phone and computer so that you do not accidentally open a second account.
Before resetting or deleting a conversation, decide whether you need anything from it. Restarting a chat is different from editing your next message, and a deleted thread should not be treated as a recoverable draft.

How can I get longer responses on Candy AI?
Ask for the length and format you want, and give the character a specific situation to develop. If the reply misses your direction, clarify or regenerate it. An exact response length is not guaranteed.
Do I need to download Candy AI to get started?
No. Open the website in a supported browser. On a phone, you can also add the web app to your home screen.
